About the Writer
Written by Nicholson on Monday, 3 of December , 2007 at 5:32 pm
My name is Brad Nicholson and I am currently enrolled as college student in southern Indiana. Currently, I am trying to wrap up my social sciences secondary education degree. When I am not pretending to pay attention to my studies or grades I enjoy playing video games, writing, reading fiction, and going to the gym. I have two cats named Hannibal the Mighty and Ghengis Kahn the Conqueror.
Since I spent the time to detail my likes, I have to mention and include a bulleted list of what I don’t enjoy;
- Going to EB Games and listening to the half-wit employees
- Soft foods. Keep the apple sauce and yogurt the fuck away from me.
- Shoe laces
- Two Worlds
Aside from my poor taste in leisure as well as my badly placed priorities, I love to write about video games. In all honesty, it is a hidden passion. My initial approach to reviewing and writing news is objectivity. Unfortunately, I do not take myself or video games too seriously. I’m predisposed to cursing, rambling, and satire when I write about games. That is not to say that I cannot write seriously, but in this format I feel as if a few laughs is better than trying to be a mock journalist.
I created this blog not only to give myself an outlet, but to use as a tool if I were to ever be recruited to write for a real website. Naturally, I can only assume that if you are reading this, then you are a REALLY badass and prolific editor of a great website. I assure you that I can be whatever you want me to be. You want a gopher or a news writer? I’m your man. Do you want a smartass reviewer? I’m down. Do you need a muslim/jewish/furry/audiophile previewer? Sure, I can do that.
In all seriousness, I’m a hard worker who enjoys writing about video games. I currently own a 360 and a Nintendo Wii. I have little experience with the PS3, and slight experience with the PC platform. I have had and still own countless older consoles, and I carry quite a bit of information about the industry and games in general.
